Fears and Tears

Do not let your heart be troubled, for I am with you. When I am faced with fear and anxiety, the Lord says, “take courage”.

I realize for me to have courage is to turn further toward God and follow Him; to follow His voice, His lead, His command. He is the one who has always had the plan and knows how it will turn out, how everything fits together for His glory.

Be brave and steadfast, it is the Lord who marches before you, He will be with you and will never fail you or forsake you. So do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:7-8

I recall the times in my life where I had courage to get through what I was facing; the memories and glimpses of the past which shaped me for where I am now; the courage to act in the little or big things to show my vulnerabilities and emotions and to face what I was experiencing and not run away.

As I move forward taking the next step, I know the Lord walks before me, He will never leave me and He is close to me. I don’t know what is in front of me, but I trust in the one who does and I find my courage in Him.
