Fears and Tears

God is faithful, and by Him you were called to fellowship with Jesus Christ, our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9

This past week has been filled with much light and hope. There has been answered prayer; when things seem impossible, the miracle comes in the still of the night, and a family is touched by the hand of God. It is a family I do not know, but I prayed for them. I had a tiny droplet of sharing in this when I offered up a prayer intention for them. A participating in the community of faith, love and hope. It was a tiny droplet of water in an immense ocean and it was a beautiful thing.

The Lord calls out to me, He is always seeking to draw me closer. It is a call to humility and simplicity; it is a call to relationship with the Lord, it is a call to spend time with Him. I can feel a change deep in my heart, a peace and calm that the Lord gives. A joy and happiness that shines bright as the sunshine, it radiates my being and brings my gaze upward.

The Lord calls and I follow Him, the Lord listens and I tell Him, the Lord loves me and I love Him.
