Fears and Tears

The joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

I feel much joy as I enter into the third week of Advent. Joy is the light within the heart which burns brightly and bursts forth like fourth of July fireworks. Joy brings that which must be felt to the surface and illuminates all those around it.

Joy takes one by the hand and leads them to experience increased faith, much hope and true love, it points to the Lord. It is a beautiful dance between a soul and God, where God leads and the soul follows, a most intimate moment of surrender. It is a place where joy endures and remains with us always.

Joy with peace, is the sister of charity. Serve the Lord with laughter. St. Padre Pio
