Fears and Tears

My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Isaiah 54:10

Today is the feast day of St. Faustina Kowalska. She is a special saint and friend to me. The Lord chose her to write about His unending love and mercy that He offers to us.

He opens up His precious and sacred heart to me and to all. He offers Himself fully and holds nothing back. I desire to trust, to surrender, to love fully, but I can never seem to get there. I desire to, but my fear and anxiety hinder me.

Lord, I ask for your grace to heal in me what gets in the way so I can fully surrender to Your love and mercy.

My daughter, let go of your anxiety and fear, that is not from Me. I pour out my blessing upon you, like being submerged in a vast ocean, that is My love overtaking you fully and completely. I love you with My whole heart and I call you close to Me, come, My daughter, draw near.

The greatest obstacles to holiness is discouragement and exaggerated anxiety. Jesus to St. Faustina, diary 1488.

Lord, I am here with You. I smile at the rainbow You provided this beautiful morning. It is a reminder of Your promise and covenant and love.

Thank you for this special time. Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.
