Run With The Lord

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

I have always loved and been intrigued by horses. They are magnificent creatures that are beautiful and strong, yet they are sensitive animals.

When I was young, I took lessons on riding and my favorite thing was galloping on the horse.

It was an experience that was amazing, in that moment it was a letting go or a surrender that inspired a feeling of pure joy. It was a moment of time where I felt free.

I haven’t felt that way in a long time. I long to experience it again. I feel that God is calling me not only to follow Him, but to run with Him. To be free.

What a beautiful image and I pray, “Lord, I desire to be free and run with You. Help me in my weakness to not only follow You, but to run with You.” Amen.
