This Lenten season, I have encountered the Lord in a different way. He has brought me away from the crowds to a quiet place. To walk with Him in a new way.
He has called me to deeper prayer and silence, to sit at His feet and listen to Him.
He has shown me that He is veiled and hidden in Holy Scripture, in the Stations of the Cross, in those suffering. The Lord is revealing Himself to me, and inviting me to a place of greater contemplation.
It is not a place of isolation, as He is there with me. It is a place where He is veiled, yet revealed to me, through the eyes of faith.
Saint Joseph is great witness to me, by his deep faith and trust in God. I continue on in my Lenten journey, praying for the intercession of St. Joseph, to teach me to follow the Lord, with courage and strength, with silence and contemplation, and with faith and love. I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
