A Blessed Easter to everyone! As my Magnify 90 practices and readings approach the last week, I sit here with much gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord for all He has done for me.
Jesus is risen, He is indeed risen, with scars on His body, where the brilliant light of God the Father shines forth upon the whole world. The love and mercy poured out to mankind, inviting us to accept His love. God loves us so much that He holds nothing back from us.
It begs the question, what am I holding back from God, what have I not surrendered to Him? This past 90 days has shown me what I am attached to, and what has been easier to let go of. It has brought out areas of hurt and pain, while illuminating areas of providence and care. These months has shown me that God has always been with me, in my suffering and in my joy.
I love this prayer of St. Paul to the Ephesians, as it speaks so eloquently of the love of God:
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
A most blessed Easter season to you! I am praying for you, may you feel the peace and love of God, Amen.
