I Am Changed

I am changed by the One who doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today, and always, Jesus.

This is how I feel after attending the National Eucharist Congress in Indianapolis last week. I am so grateful for this experience where 60,000 pilgrims came together to praise, honor, and worship the Lord.

In the midst of the crowds, Jesus touched my heart and soul, and I have peace. I feel His great love for me, and I feel His most sacred heart on fire for all people.

I was overcome by tears the first evening as the four Eucharistic processions from across the United States came together as one.

There were many beautiful experiences that I had, but I will share one where the Lord spoke to me.

It was during an evening of Eucharistic Adoration at the stadium. While I was in prayer, the Lord brought me to the place in scripture where Mary Magdalene was at the tomb early in the morning.

I felt as if I was experiencing it through her eyes. The Lord called me by my name, “Vikki”, and took me by the hand. He led me to a garden where He offered me a single, white rose. It was beautiful and I accepted it. After that, I saw an endless field of white roses that He gave me in abundance. They looked like beautiful snow that covered the ground.

It was a beautiful encounter with the risen Lord, and I am truly grateful for this experience.

Dear Lord, I give You praise, honor, and glory. Thank You for walking with me, and so many others at this historic moment in time. I am changed. Amen.
