Fears and Tears

Today is a new day. It is a time to begin again and be in the present moment. To walk in hope, moving forward, one step at a time.

It is a time to listen, to hear what the Lord is saying to me. To pay attention to what is happening around me. To be there for the people that the Lord has placed in my life.

It is a time to speak to the Lord, and share my hopes, my dreams, and my thoughts with Him. He listens to me with care and a look of love.

It is the time to live my life with purpose, and not be pulled in several different directions. The Lord calls me to walk with Him, to keep my eyes on Him, while being attentive to my neighbor.

The Lord is always with me, no matter what. He speaks to my heart, and tells me, “My daughter, I know you get overwhelmed by the world, and feel weighed down. Turn to Me, and I will show you the way to peace.”

Lord, I take Your hand, and begin again, because it is a new day.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad. Psalm 118:24
