Blessed are all who fear the Lord and who walk in his ways. What your hands provide you will enjoy; you will be blessed and prosper: Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your home, Your children like young olive plants around your table. Just so will the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

I recently made a trip back to my hometown for a family visit. It was a special occasion that brought me home. A milestone birthday, an art show, and a pre-order of a debut book.
It is a beautiful thing to see the blessings that God has provided for my family. The branches stretch out wide, the leaves spring forth, and the soil is rich. The sun rises, the sun sets; the rain comes, the rain stops; the storms appear, the storms pass; God is with us.
Lord, thank you for the gift of family, I am grateful for your blessings, providence, and love. I pray for an increase of faith, hope, and charity for my family, mia familia. May Your grace continue to shine upon us. Amen.
