Fears and Tears

For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope. When you call me, and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

As I journey through the conclusion of the liturgical year for the Church, and look to the coming year, the Lord has ushered in a new beginning in my life. It follows the invitation of the Holy Spirit, and I step forward in faith to where the Lord is leading me.

It is a place in my heart and mind where I surrender to the Lord fully, and answer with my yes. It is a place in my life, where I realize my dependence on the Lord, and rely on Him with great confidence. It is a place of trust, where I know the Lord is worthy and He makes everything work for the good.

Dear Lord, I am thankful for a new beginning. I give You all praise and glory, because without You, I can do nothing. You are with me, and make all things new. I, your little daughter, move forward in faith, in hope, and in love. Amen.
