Fears and Tears

Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those whom His favor rests. Luke 2:14

It is a beautiful time, the Christmas season, where my gaze is on the Lord, who came to earth as a baby born all those years ago.

Last night, I attended a beautiful candlelight Christmas Mass at Midnight, that was very inspiring. As I sat in the darkness with the soft glow of the candles around me, I felt the presence of the Lord, as a sweet baby, gentle as a Lamb, and I recognized that the Light is here.

I listen in the deepest regions of my heart for His still small voice calling out to me; to seek Him, to visit Him, to follow Him. I receive His love and I feel great joy resonate in my entire being. He is here, the Prince of Peace.

It is the little way, the small things He calls me to. It is a simple and prayerful life, hidden away from the world. And at the same time, in the world. Moments spent gazing on His sweet face, receiving the love from God and in my little way, giving Him my love.

My Lord and My God, it is You whom my heart seeks, whom my heart longs for, whom my heart loves. You are with me and my heart is at peace. Glory to God, and peace on earth. Amen.

And the Word became flesh and made His dwelling with us. John 1:14
