Fears and Tears

Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves, For my yoke is easy, and my burden light. Matthew 11:28-30

This was the Bible verse that I received after going to Confession. It was like a balm that soothed my soul and the words struck deep within my heart.

I feel that the Lord calling me to spend more time with Him. To observe and learn from the way He lived as described in the Sacred Scriptures.

To observe and learn from the way He comes to me in the present moment. The more time I spend with Him, the more a sense of peace enters my life.

He is gentle and kind, and I long to be with Him always. He calls me friend and my heart rests in Him.

Lord, thank you for the serenity that you offer, it is like a vast ocean that is unending. You call me into the deep waters. And when the waves come, I am unshaken because You are with me. Amen.
