Patience, prayer, and silence, these are what give strength to the soul. St. Faustina
Patience is accepting God’s timing and not my own. It is living a life where I follow Him with complete trust.
Prayer is speaking with God, heart to heart, and having a relationship with Him. It is living a life where I recognize that He is close, and I spend time with Him.
Silence is a stilling of my body, mind, and soul to receive the love of God. It is living a life of peace and calm, clinging to the Rock that is steady and strong.
Patience, prayer, and silence leads me to love. It is the pure and burning love of God, where worldly cares slip away, and heavenly ones appear.
I pray for the grace to live this life, as He has called me to. To let go of fear, anxiety, and doubt, with eyes on Him. To find my worth in Him, and not the world.
To go where He leads, stay where He desires, and open my heart to the life He has planned for me.
It is a life lived with God; it is a simple life, it is a good life, and it is a life that He has created me for.
I give God all praise and glory, for having called me forth to life. I praise Him for the breath in my lungs and the beat of my heart; it brings me into the sacred rhythm of God, into His very presence, and I am most thankful for this great gift. Amen.
I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works! My very self you know. Psalm 139:14
