The Lord is always speaking, and it is amazing to me. Especially when I am aware of His loving presence. He is always there, I am the one that turns my gaze elsewhere.
The Lord lifts me in encouragement when His words touch my heart. “I delight in you.” Simple words that give me a sense of being loved and a sense of belonging. Simple words that give me peace and joy. Simple words that I needed to hear.
Thank you, my Lord and my God, for speaking those lovely words to my heart. I pray that the words I speak bring You praise, honor, and glory. Amen.
Indeed, the word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
