Fears and Tears

Come away and find a quiet place of rest – to not “do” but just “be”. Let the silence envelop you, as it calls you to go deeper within yourself. To cast off the worries of the world and to listen to the inmost stirrings of your heart.

To notice the breath you take, to feel your heart beat and not let the moment of living pass by. To take time to be quiet, however difficult that may be. To look at things you have kept hidden, that weigh you down and present them to the Lord. To feel the peace and comfort when you realize that you are not alone and are cared for. That you are loved.

To acknowledge you need Him and let Him in. To the deep recesses of your heart, call Him and He will be there. He speaks in the silence, give Him the time and He will come and give you rest.
