This quote from St. Patrick is peaceful because when I read it slowly and sit with it awhile, it beckons me closer to the Lord. It is as if I am on a wide road that narrows as I journey on it, and it leads to God. That is where He calls me to be.

It is a restful place with a cool mist in the air and a cloud cover that stretches over the horizon. The Lord has brought me here; a stillness surrounds me and I cannot hear any noise, and I be.

I sit with the Lord, and feel the breath of God over the land. It is life giving and spirit filled, and I get a sense of a blanket which covers everything, and I be.
