Fears and Tears

Lord, I can feel You leading me into a closer relationship. To be set apart and holy in your sight. To follow You on my own exodus through the wilderness on a journey towards the promised land.

The promised land is You, my God and my Savior. To dwell with You in love and peace. To become a living sanctuary, set apart for You. You call me to this, one step at a time.

It is not an easy journey through the wilderness, and danger is all around. But you Lord, are my safe refuge and will protect me. There is great beauty to see on the journey because You are there and love always speaks.

You look at me and see that I am beautiful, pure and lovely in your sight. It is a reflection of You, my God, in my soul. A place where heaven and earth come together, because You are always with me.

Lord, I pray for the grace to be set apart for You, as You call me to be. All praise and thanksgiving to You, my Lord and my God.

I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship. Romans 12:1
