Fears and Tears

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and turn away from evil; This will mean health for your flesh and vigor for your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8

The Lord has been speaking to my heart with a calling. To rely on Him, to trust in Him, and to surrender to Him. A giving up of my control, my attachments and my life to Him. Where I die to myself so I can live fully with Him. The One who loves me completely asks that I love Him completely with my whole heart; my whole self.

I feel weighed down and unable to stand. The Lord is calling me to rise, get off my mat and rise, to be healed. To be free of the burdens that weigh me down; of past hurts, of not feeling worthy of love. He asks me if I want to be healed.

Yes Lord, I want to be healed, I pray for the grace of surrender, healing and patience. I ask this in your Mighty Name, Jesus. My Healer, My Shepherd, My God. Amen.
