Fears and Tears

This past weekend was Pentecost Sunday, where the Apostles received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told his followers that He would ascend into Heaven so the Advocate could come.

As they were praying and waiting, the Holy Spirit, in a strong wind descended upon them in tongues of fire. The apostles received gifts from God to go out into the world to boldly proclaim the Good News.

The Apostles shared the Good News of Jesus and many were baptized and added to their numbers. What a beautiful witness of faith, hope, and love.

As I continue on my faith journey, I pray to God for His guidance and help, to go where He calls, and to surrender to His will.

Come Holy Spirit, Come Holy Spirit, Come Holy Spirit. Amen.
