For A Time Like This

“Perhaps, it was for a time like this that you became queen?”, words from Mordecai to Queen Esther, Esther 4:14, calling her forward in prayer, in fasting, and in courage. Words that are still relevant.

Today, I begin the Pilgrimage to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis. The last one was in Minneapolis in 1941.

From the four corners of the United States, the Eucharistic processions began in May, ending in one central place in the nation, Indiana. The different processions literally formed a cross over the United States.

I join thousands of pilgrims in prayer to glorify and praise our Lord, Jesus Christ at this historic moment.

In prayer, in fasting, and in courage, I follow the Lord, for a time like this. Amen.
