Pray for one another. James 5:16
Today, I said a prayer for you. A prayer to hold onto hope and find your courage deep within. A prayer that you matter and are not alone.
That today, you would feel the sun on your face, even if it is behind the clouds. Closing your eyes and feeling its warmth radiate your being.
Today, I pray that you will savor each moment, however small and insignificant, and see the beauty that is passed by and easily missed.
Today, you would hear a child laugh, see a stranger smile, feel the brisk air on your face, savor a cup of coffee, and sing in your car.
Today, you would park farther away, watch less television, pay someone a visit, let someone cut in line, listen to someone’s story, and hear a bird sing.
That today, you would choose life, to say yes to the present moment, to feel my prayer for you today.
That today you feel loved. Amen.
