Spring is here. I breathe in the fresh and fragrant aroma and it renews my body and soul.
The trees and flowers show forth their glory. Birds return and the call of the mourning dove is heard.
Frogs croak in the distance and rain gently falls to the ground. The grass turns a deep shade of green and wildflowers appear in the field.
The lakes look like glitter as the sun shines upon them. The ice just a distant memory.
The daylight stretches forth into the evening and the sunset glows in the horizon.
What a perfect time of the year to celebrate Mother’s Day.
It was time spent together; coffee, treats, a funny and sentimental movie, a simple meal, a walk around the neighborhood, and thoughtful gifts. It was a good day.
I am grateful to the Lord for all He has given me and the life that He has called me to. The joy and peace I feel when we are all together is special. My family, my true love, and my joy; I cherish all the moments. ❤️Love you❤️
